Make sure you complete these tasks before leaving the space unattended.
This list starts from the back of the space and works towards the exit.
- Clean up any mess that you may have made and put away all tools that have been used.
- Verify that no appliances on the resin printing shelf have been left on (e.g. ultrasonic cleaner bath heater)
- Make sure the 3D printers are happy. If a print looks like it's failing, stop it.
- Verify that the laser cutter is off (e-stop is depressed).
- If you have been using the compressor, turn it off and drain it of any remaining air and water.
- Turn off the loft lights. The switch is by the pay phone.
- Verify that the solder station is off. If it is not, press the large button on the timer under the stack light.
- Turn off the lights in the server room and office. The switch for the office lights is behind the left monitor on the desk for some reason.
- Verify that the roll-up door is locked.
- Turn off the space switch.
- Turn off the main lights.
- Ensure the red dot door is closed.
- Verify that no appliances have been left on in the kitchen (toaster oven, kettle).
- Ensure that the front door lock is engaged! If red tape is exposed, the lock is not engaged. Push the lock knob in and turn it 90 degrees to engage the lock. The red tape should just barely be visible. Verify that the lock has been engaged by operating the handle from outside.
- Turn off the lights in the kitchen.
- Exit the space and ensure that the door latches.
